• An official septic system inspection where the town is notified with an official report. This is when a septic inspector is called in to assess septic system problems experienced by the homeowner without notifying any officials. An example of this would be if the septic system was backing up due to a clogged pipe or other problem that could be fixed without requiring a septic system upgrade.
